Loading Presets
- Click the preset name at the top of the window to open the Preset Browser
- Pick a section in the left rail, browse, or search by name
- Double-click a preset to load it (or right-click it and choose Load)
Browser Layout
The top bar holds a search field, a sort dropdown (A - Z, newest first, oldest first) and a Cards / List toggle that switches between an artwork grid and a compact list. The Size slider at the bottom sets the card size in Cards view and the row height in List view. Each card shows the preset's artwork, name, author, a category chip and a favourite heart (it turns gold on your favourites).
The Left Rail
The rail on the left of the browser decides what you see:
- Hub: browse and install content from MNodesHub without leaving the app. The Hub view has its own sort and category dropdowns
- Library: All Presets, Favorites, and Recent
- Collections: your own groups of presets. Click + to create one, then drag any preset onto a collection to file it there
- Bundles: installed bundles (File → Install Bundle)
- Type: Instruments, Audio FX, or MIDI Effects
- Category: the full category list (Ambient, Arp, Bass, and so on)
Right-Click Actions
Right-click any preset for quick actions: Load, Show Info, Add to Favorites, Duplicate, Export, Show in Finder / Explorer, Edit Info, and Delete. Factory presets are read-only, so Edit Info and Delete are hidden for them.

.mnprt,.mnprtz, or.mnmodpackfiles from any location - Export: Save presets or bundles to share with others
- Collect All & Export: Package an entire project as a
.mnprtzbundle with all resources
Preset bundles (.mnprtz) and Module Packs (.mnmodpack) include all referenced external files (samples, images, film strips, wavetables), making them fully portable across machines. See the Modules guide for details on Module Packs.
MNodesHub
Browse and download community presets from MNodesHub. Inside MNodes, open the Preset Browser and pick Hub at the top of the left rail to explore and install available content.
Recent Presets
MNodes tracks your recently opened presets. Access them from:
- The Home Panel on startup
- The File menu
Dirty State
When you modify a preset, MNodes tracks the changes. An indicator shows when the current state differs from the saved version, prompting you to save.
